VRgluv Demonstrates VR Training Gloves to United States Military

February 7, 2019

In the past few months, the VRgluv team has administered hundreds of demos to military and industry personnel. In November, HP invited and hosted VRgluv at I/ITSEC 2018, the largest training & simulation conference in the country, to demo the VRgluv technology at the HP booth to the public.

The VRgluv team provided their first live demonstrations to the US Army at Fort Leavenworth, KS in January. Mission Command Battle Lab hosted this demonstration for the Combined Arms Center community of interest and Unified Challenge community of practice during this year’s UC to inform and build awareness of emerging technologies and enable collaboration among stakeholders and partner organizations (link).

"It's easy to see the added utility of the gloves for training. This has potential to work in a lot of military applications today and in the future..."

"I hope to see this soon so we can continue to speed up our readiness training on all fronts."

VRgluv will be attending the Technical Exchange on Augmented Reality in Maintenance and Material Management (TEAR 3M) hosted by the Battlespace Exploitation of Mixed Reality Lab (BEMR Lab) at the SPAWAR Systems Center in San Diego, CA from February 20-21 (link).
